How much does it cost to hire the Estuary or Ocean suite?

Prices start from £90 for the Estuary Suite, and £400 for the Ocean Suite, prices change depending on the time of week, duration needed, audiovisual requirements, refreshments and linen costs.

Can I customise my table décor?

Of course, customise to your hearts content, or let our in-house team assist you.

Can I hire other areas of the building like bowling, soft play, or one of the restaurants?

Certainty! However, hiring one of these facilities will be subject to additional charges if we have to close it to the public. Please get in touch for prices events@oceanexmouth.co.uk

What is the maximum capacity for each suite?

In the Ocean Suite, seated 250, standing 300.

In the Estuary Suite, 30 seated

This capacity can be increased into the adjoining Deck restaurant, if necessary.

Can we have a ceremony on site?

Yes, have your ceremony inside, or we can roll our the red carpet on our larger terrace, our wooden traditional pergola is designed specifically for the dream beachfront ceremony! Which can be customised to suit your taste

How long can we hire the venue for, (fees for additional hours?)

Times of hire:

Half day, 8:30am – 12:30, or 1pm – 5pm

Full day, 8:30 – 5pm, or

Evening, 6pm – 12am

Can we visit the venue before booking?

What is the payment schedule?

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. Full payment can be made at any time, up until no shorter than 14 days before your event.

Do you have any supplier recommendations?

Planning an event can be a little stressful. Getting a DJ, insurance, bakery, photobooth; the list goes on! We’ve compiled a list of providers so you don’t have to!

 

Graham Sykes Insurance – The Home of Specialist Vehicle, Event and Festival Insurance; our recommended insurance provider, Graham Sykes, offer event and stallholder insurance, and is just 2 minutes away by car!

 

Poseworthy & Co – Poseworthy & Co’s photobooth’s are a great ice breaker to get guests talking to each other and entertain them in the gap between the ceremony and the reception.

They provide a photographer-led service to fully engage guests, and to ensure that everyone gets the best photo memories of the occasion. Many couples have found that their photobooth images are among their favourite wedding day shots, as they capture the happiness and fun of the big day.

If you’re planning a wedding or other event with a vintage theme, they can supply a complete Vintage Photo Booth service to suit, with themes including Hollywood, Steampunk, Gatsby and many others. Poseworthy & Co’s very affordable service comes complete with your choice of backdrop, and a selection of authentic, quality props for maximum dressing-up fun! Photos are supplied via a secure link unique to you who retain the copyright to the images!
