With its views across the Exe estuary and out to sea, the new chef at Ocean, in Exmouth, is looking to capitalise on the restaurant’s unique situation. James Wragg, 32, who lives in Exmouth, is aiming high when it comes to creating a new menu to help re-launch what is on offer at the venue with the best views in Exmouth.
James is looking to offer good quality food, served well, using fresh, local ingredients. He said: “There is some brilliant produce available in this area, such as Exmouth Mussels and Green Valley Cyder. He also said: “I want people to be able to enjoy the views, the drink and the food. We intend to offer a high-quality experience, in a relaxed atmosphere with good quality food and good service.”
Ocean Deck and our Bar & Grill, will continue to offer a daytime menu but will also be providing dinner time menu for the evening and its development will respond to the demand of customers. James said: “I am really excited about this. Exmouth needs its own destination venues. I want it to be relaxed and cool, so if you are thinking about going out on a Friday night, you would choose to go to the Deck and you would know that you would be getting a good meal”
The launch of "The Deck" on 30 March will feature a new menu and will be available for breakfast until 12.00 noon at which point the lunch menu will be served until 5.00pm. From 6.00pm a delightful evening menu will be offered, it is recommended that reservations are made in advance as limited seating is available.
